	No Problem! Kein Strom, kommt gleich sofort. No Problem. Just a moment. Ich möchte die Banyan Präsentation aufbauen, es ist schon spät, die Konferenz beginnt in wenigen Minuten. Just a Moment later, Please. Wait just later, ja? Sorry ok. Ok? Nach drei Stunden und mehreren Ortswechseln endlich eine funktionierende Steckdose. Fliegender Aufbau unter einem Moskitonetz, Videoprojektion darauf, ein Tisch mit Laptop für die Website und Infos, entlang der Wand Juliane Heises Streifenschärpe und darauf ausgebreitet all die Banyan Kunstschätze. Ab in den Konferenzraum, und oh Wunder, das Blatt hat sich gewendet: wirklich interessante Projekte werden hier vorgestellt, zb. das "Long March Project" aus China, "Theaterworks aus Singapure mit einem Projekt in Luang Prabang in Laos, eine Off-Galerie aus Hanoi etc. Abends gings auf ein Tempelfest in der Stadt, wie immer dieser herrliche Mix aus singenden Mönchen, Karusellen, Karaoke, Tanz und Süssigkeiten, Mekonggelagen und Wurfbuden, Freakshow und billigem Ramschverkauf. Mittendrin eine Leinwand, auf der Kunst zu sehen ist. Erstmal ein einstündiges Wackelvideo ohne Schnitte, Narvin fährt auf der Vespa von Bangkok nach Chiang Mai, dann ein österreichischer Kurzspielfilm, ok, und dann irgendwie belehrend: Videokunst aus dem Westen, Effektoverkill. Ach ja, dazwischen ein Video eines Chiang Mai´er Studenten, ein paar Interviews, aufgemöbelt mit unnötig kitschigen 3D Animationen.
						NO problem! No electricity, comes equivalent immediately. NO problem. Just A moment. I would like to develop the Banyan presentation, it am already late, the conference begin in few minutes. Just A moment more later, Please. WAIT just more later? Sorry of ok. Ok one? After three hours and several local changes finally a functioning plug socket. Flying structure under a mosquito net, video projection on it, a table with laptop for the Website and the information, along the wall Juliane Heises Streifenschaerpe and on it spread all the Banyan of art treasures. Off into the conference room, and oh miracle, the sheet turned: really interesting projects are presented here, e.g. the "Long March Project" from China, "Theaterworks from Singapure with a project in Luang Prabang in Laos, an off gallery from Hanoi etc.. In the evening went on a temple celebration in the city, like always this wonderful mix out of singing monks, Karusellen, Karaoke, dance and sweets, Mekonggelagen and Wurfbuden, Freakshow and cheap rummage sale. Center in it a canvas, on which art is to be seen. Erstmal an in-hour Wackelvideo without cuts, Narvin drives on the Vespa from Bangkok to Chiang May, then a Austrian short feature, of ok, and then somehow instructing: Video art from the west, Effektoverkill. Oh, between them a video of a Chiang Mai'er student, a few interviews, bucked up with unnecessarily kit ski towards 3D animations.
