| Leihe mir ein Fahhrad, zurück die ca. 20 km zum Dorf an der Strasse um einzukaufen und vor allem, um Christine anzurufen. Die freut sich. Ich aber erkenne ihre Stimme nicht durch all dieses digitale Gefiepse und die diversen Datenkompressionen. Ist das vielleicht jemand anders? Christine? Fangfrage: Wann fliegst du nach Bangkok? Ach du bist es doch! Ich liebe dich, hörst du mich? Einkaufen an der Schnellstrasse, Fisch-Konserven, Reis, Kaffee, Schnaps und Brot. Und eine warme Cola. Zurück in den Wald. Gespräch mit Ken, einem Ranger. Die ganze Anlage so verrottet sie auch aussieht, ist gerad mal fünf Jahre alt. Da wurde sie von einer europäischen Firma hierhingebaut. Die haben alles mitgebracht, den Architekten, die Techniker, die Baumaterialien. Nur gefragt haben sie niemanden nach den besonderen Bedingungen hier. Denn Regenwald, das heisst, dass es hier eine unglaublich hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit gibt. Da kann man schon mit Holz bauen, aber man muss wissen welches. Und die Fundamente sind entscheidend. Nächstes Jahr soll hier alles neu gemacht werden. Hoffentlich hält das dann etwas länger, nicht nur eine grossartige Eröffnungsfeier lang. Aber die Infotafeln, die sind super! Meint auch Ken. Abends eine stille kleine Weihnachtsfeier mit Mike, Albert und Moses, den Rangern in meinem Camp. Ich spendiere Kakao, Kekse und Schnaps. Sternenhimmel über einem Loch im Walddach, da wo unsere Hütten stehen. |

Those bring along everything, for the architect, those Technician, the building materials. They did not only ask anybody for that special conditions here. Because rain forest, i.e. that it here an unbelievably high air humidity gives. There one can already with wood build, but one must know which. And the foundations are crucially. Next year is to be made new everything here. Hopefully then somewhat longer, not only a great keeps Opening celebration long. But the info. boards, those are super! Also Ken means. In the evening a quiet small Weihnachtsfeier with Mike, Albert and Moses, the Rangern in my Camp. I spendiere cocoa, cookies and liquor.
