Sonntag. Wir haben uns auf einem Marae, einer alten polynesischen Kultstätte ausserhalb von Papeete verabredet.

Liza ist eine polynesische Künstlerin, die mit Performance, Video und Fotos arbeitet. Ihre ehemalige Lehrerin Corinne Cimerman kommt dazu.

Am Abend sind wir bei einem Perser und seiner deutschen Frau zum Abendessen eingeladen. Sie hatten meinen Kontiki-Film verpasst, und weil sie als gläubige Bahai´i besonders neugierig auf mein Interview mit einem Bahai´í aus Vanuatu waren, gab ich eine Privatvorstellung. Da war noch eine Amerikanerin und ein Australier, in Vanuatu aufgewachsen, der sogar den Bahai`i aus Vanuatu kannte. Ja, das ist George. Ja, mit dem bin ich zur Schule gegangen.
