Studied at the Academy for Theatre, Film and TV, Film and Editing (1977 B.A.); Harvard University, School of Education- interactive technologies and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Media Laboratory- video and multimedia (1988 Ed.M.)
Freelance author, writer, organiser and curator. Project director and screen designer of various interactive multimedia projects (CD-ROM, Internet). Various multimedia art projects (video art, video and computer installations, stage design). Film and video editor on different feature films, short films, advertisements and music videos. Participation on many national and international symposium and Conferences. Visiting lecturer in USA, Great Britain, Netherlands and Germany. Several years a visiting professor at the Hochschule für Film and Fernsehen Potsdam-Babelsberg.

Curatorial work for Goethe Institute in 16 countries. In 1991 curator,
editor and producer of INFERMENTAL 10, international videoart-magazine
Co-director of media in motion, Berlin and co-founder and project
director of Media-Scape, International Symposium and Exhibition for
Media Art in Zagreb (since 1991)
Since 1995 collaboration with the Studio for Electro Acustic Music of
the Akademie der Künste in Berlin.
Chair and member of Video Art and Multimedia Association Berlin (VKMM).
