Josaia’s artistic practice has taken him from designing CD covers for Pacific singers to showcasing work at the Tjibaou Culture Centre in New Caledonia in 2002 as part of the Noumea Biennale.
In 2005 his works were exhibited at the Pacific Festival of the Arts in Belau.
His distinctive style reflects his deep ascetic spirituality. McNamara is of Fijian/ New Zealand descent,and is 32 years old. He lives both in Suva and in a village in the interior of Viti Levu.
